This team serves as a role model in providing service excellence by living the values and principles of person-centred care.

Description

The Award of Excellence in Leadership (Manager) will be awarded to a Manager who provides exemplary management oversight to their team. This individual actively implements and/or supports innovative ideas in order to enhance service and demonstrates a commitment to improve the quality of health care, thereby becoming a role model in the area of management. This individual is fiscally responsible in planning, budgeting, implementing and monitoring the quality of services delivered. They implement and/or support the effective and efficient delivery of clinical services, supports organizational goals, promote professional growth/development of staff, and demonstrate accessibility and approachability in their leadership style. This manager develops and fosters high performing teams.
