The Award of Excellence in Clinical Leadership will be awarded to a physician, dentist or midwife who models and enhances the image of medical practice by demonstrating medical leadership in their workplace. This individual influences positive change and outcomes for the betterment of patients, families and interprofessional colleagues within and beyond Osler. They display outstanding abilities in professional leadership and actively participate in the advancement of medicine and demonstrates excellence in leadership by showing initiative in areas of research, best practice and innovation.
