The Award of Excellence in Leadership (Director) will be awarded to a Director who provides exemplary leadership. This individual actively implements and/or supports innovative ideas in order to enhance patient care and demonstrates a commitment to improve the quality of health care, thereby becoming a role model in the area of Leadership. This individual is fiscally responsible in planning, budgeting, implementing and monitoring the quality of services delivered. They implement and/or support effective and efficient delivery of services, supports organizational goals, promotes professional growth/development of staff, and demonstrate accessibility and approachability in their leadership style. This director develops and fosters high performance teams.
