The Award of Excellence in Mentoring/Coaching/Teaching will be awarded to a physician, dentist or midwife who exhibits excellence in mentoring, coaching and teaching. This individual demonstrates success in inspiring those learning from them to grow in their professional identity and a commitment to lifelong learning using creative, dynamic, and interactive methods. Whether contributing to the growth and development of students, novice practitioners or interprofessional colleagues with their expertise and evidenced-based practice, the recipient of the Mentoring/Coaching/Teaching embodies everything that Osler supports with regard to staff development and knowledge translation that drives knowledge to practice.
