The Award of Excellence in Clinical Leadership will be awarded to a nurse who models and enhances the image of nursing by demonstrating nursing leadership in their workplace. This nurse influences positive change and outcomes for the betterment of patients, families and interprofessional colleagues within and beyond Osler. They display outstanding abilities in professional leadership and actively participates in the advancement of nursing and demonstrates excellence in leadership by showing initiative in areas of research, best practice and innovation.
